Dr. Kay Kim grew up in Closter, New Jersey. After graduating with honors from Princeton University in 2001, she received her veterinary medicine doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008. She completed a one-year rotating internship at Michigan State University, a one-year specialty internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists, a three year residency in comparative ophthalmology at Cornell University, and achieved board certification as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists in 2013. After 11 years of practice at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in New York, Dr. Kim is excited to be returning to New Jersey to join the GSVS team in 2025.
