Michelle Morges, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology), cVMA
Dr. Michelle Morges earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Delaware. She graduated from Colorado State University’s Veterinary School in 2009. Dr. Morges completed a residency in medical oncology at CSU in 2014, and while there, earned a concurrent Master’s degree. Working for years in private specialty practice, Dr. Morges has developed a strong interest in patients with advanced/metastatic disease, geriatric cancer patients, and uses a multimodality approach in many of her cases. As a medical oncologist, Dr. Morges is available to provide or confirm a cancer diagnosis, provide detailed information regarding a cancer diagnosis in your pet, perform tumor staging tests, administer treatments such as chemotherapy and/or immunotherapy, recommend collaborative treatments such as surgery and/or radiation therapy, and provide palliative cancer care. Dr. Morges is also trained in medical acupuncture.
In her free time, Dr. Morges is an avid equestrian, enjoys yoga, traveling, and spending time with her 2 dogs, 3 cats, and her horse “Moxie”.
Dr. Morges works in tandem with your pet’s primary care veterinarian to treat an array of cancers including:
- Lymphoma
- Hemangiosarcoma
- Osteosarcoma
- Mast cell tumors and other skin tumors
- Tumors of the endocrine system
- Tumors of the central nervous system
- Many other types of cancer/neoplasia
